Salman Khan was missing from Manish Malhotra’s Diwali party. However, his sister Arpita Khan stepped in and represented the Khan family at the bash. She was seen attending the party with her husband, actor Aayush Sharma. The couple was greeted at the party by Rekha. In videos shared on Instagram, Rekha was seen giving Arpita a kiss and hug.
The veteran actress also gave Aayush a warm hug. They were seen chatting together before Rekha made her way to the party while Arpita and Aayush headed to the red carpet for their photo op.

Salman gave the party a miss amid the threats he’s been facing from Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang. For the unversed, in the recent days, members of the Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang have been threatening Salman. The most recent threat came shortly after Mumbai-based political leader Baba Siddique’s murder. The leader, who was close to Salman, was shot outside his son’s office and died in the hospital shortly after. Salman’s security has been amped up ever since.
While Salman has been limiting his public appearances, the actor has been focused on work. A source told News18 that Salman returned to the sets of Sikandar and resumed shooting on Tuesday. On the same day, it was revealed that Salman has shot a cameo for Singham Again.
Pinkvilla quoted a source close to the development saying that Salman Khan, despite all the tribulations in his personal life, is shooting for Singham Again. “Rohit met Salman Khan recently, and spoke to him about the grand plans in place to welcome him. Salman heard it out and said, ‘It’s you and Ajay. You are brothers. That’s enough for a reason for me to do the cameo,’. The unit is all charged up with this newest addition to Singham Again,” the source had said.
