October has brought happy news for RIIZE fans. According to recent reports, Seunghan, a member of the popular K-pop group, is ready to rejoin his bandmates. In an official announcement, SM Entertainment confirmed that Seunghan will gradually start taking part in selective group activities from November onwards. “Seunghan will resume his activities as a member of the team. Upon his return to the team, Seunghan will take some time to prepare before joining select schedules beginning in November,” reports Allkpop.
The statement further reads, “During his break, Seunghan continued to hone his skills and has much to show, so we ask that you please show him your warm and welcoming gazes.”

The agency also apologised for the singer’s past actions, adding that he has been reflecting on them and feels apologetic toward his members and fans.

Following the formal announcement, Seunghan took a moment to reach out to his fans, bandmates and the company and expressed gratitude. In a handwritten message on Weverse, he began with an apology and said, “When the pre-debut photos of me were revealed, I was deeply disappointed in myself and regretted what I had done. I can’t even fathom how the members and fans must have felt when I myself felt so let down, too. I can only imagine how angry, shocked, and disappointed you all must have felt.”

Expressing his repentance in the note, he added, “I will work hard to become a good member and ensure I will not hinder the progress and achievements the members have made thus far. I want to become an essential part of the team, RIIZE.”
The RIIZE member took a hiatus in November of last year after getting involved in a controversy over his private life. Beginning in August 2023, a couple of pre-debut pictures and videos of the young star were reportedly leaked online. These showed him with an unidentified woman on a bed, smoking a cigarette. This ignited a massive backlash, with some fans labelling his actions as inappropriate and demanding his removal from the group.
