Showsha Reel Awards 2024 - Best Actor: Ranveer Singh to Shah Rukh Khan, Vote For Your Favourite Star

The Showsha Reel Awards 2024 nominations were announced earlier this month and we are excited to see who will win the Best Actor. The awards show is slated to take place on March 9 and the voting lines for the same have opened. In 2023, some brilliant performances dropped everyone’s jaws. News18 Showsha has picked out seven of those actors and nominated them for the Best Actor award.

Shah Rukh Khan: The superstar starred in two action-packed films, Pathaan and Jawan. In Pathaan, SRK played the role of an Indian spy who fights a terrorist eyeing the country. In Jawan, he played a double father and son role. The film put him outside his comfort zone.

Ranveer Singh: The actor delivered a memorable Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani performance. The actor showed how it is to portray a vulnerable lead actor and surprised everyone by performing Kathak on Dola Re Dola.

Ranbir Kapoor: The actor delivered one of his career-best performances with Animal. He essayed the role of a son seeking his father’s attention. His performance was loved by many.

Salman Khan: The actor returned as Avinash Rathod aka Tiger for the third time in Tiger 3 and reminded us that he has the OG spy swag. Salman packed the punch in Tiger 3, making his performance and the film a memorable watch.

Sunny Deol: Although it has been 22 years, Sunny Deol retained the charm of Tara Singh in Gadar 2 while adding a new leash of life to the character. The actor reminded us that when he roars, everyone listens!

Vicky Kaushal: The actor is a chameleon and his performance in Sam Bahadur is a perfect example of it. Vicky transformed into Sam Manekshaw with absolute ease in the film.

Varun Dhawan: 2023 was all about pushing the limits and Varun Dhawan did exactly that with Bawaal. The star, who is a director’s actor, put his best foot forward and delivered a memorable performance in the film.
