Actress Shraddha Kapoor celebrates Ganesh Chaturthi in traditional Maharashtrian style. Enjoying piping out modaks is one of her favourite things to do. She was recently spotted arriving at her aunt’s house for Ganpati darshan with her father, Shakti Kapoor.
Shakti Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor were seen heading towards the building where Bollywood actress Padmini Kolhapure stays. The stars showed humility by stopping to acknowledge the paparazzi, greeting them with waves and smiles.
Shraddha Kapoor wore a simple red Anarkali suit. Shakti Kapoor, on the other hand, exuded style in a white kurta-style T-shirt and paired it with black jeans.
Shraddha Kapoor and Shakti Kapoor are pure father-daughter goals. September 3 marked a special day in the lives of both actors as the veteran star celebrated his 72nd birthday. Shraddha posted a picture on Instagram to wish her “pasandida purush”. Crediting her father for everything, Shraddha penned, “Aaj mere pasandida purush ka janam din hai! Happy Birthday Baapu @shaktikapoor Woh stree hai, woh kuch bhi kar sakti hai kyunki uske papa ka haath har dum uske sar par hai. Love you Baapu.”
Having debuted in the acting world in 1977, Shakti Kapoor is a renowned name, known for his roles as villain and comic timing. It was her portrayal of ‘Crime Master Gogo’ in the cult classic Andaz Apna Apna that solidified his status in the industry. His last appearance was in Ranbir Kapoor and Anil Kapoor starrer Animal.
Meanwhile, Shraddha Kapoor’s Stree 2 has been scripting records ever since its release last month on August 15. The Amar Kaushik-directed supernatural horror comedy grossed Rs 700 crore globally in three weeks. Besides her, the film also stars Rajkummar Rao, Aparshakti Khurana, Pankaj Tripathi and Abhishek Banerjee. Akshay Kumar, Varun Dhawan and Tamannaah Bhatia are also seen in the film in cameo appearances.
