Honey Singh has landed in Mumbai for Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal’s wedding celebrations. Honey Singh had earlier said that he would be in the city for his “best friend’s” wedding. The singer will be a part of the celebrations being held tonight at Bastian restaurant.
Honey Singh was seen arriving in Mumbai today for Sonakshi’s wedding and appeared visibly happy. He interacted with the media and said, “Bina daaru piye naachunga (I will dance without drinking alcohol).” Watch the video here:

Earlier, a source had informed The Indian Express that the wedding registration will take place at Zaheer Iqbal’s residence. It seems like the couple is not hosting a Nikkah or a Hindu-style wedding ceremony. Instead, after their marriage is registered, Sonakshi and Zaheer will be hosting a wedding party. The bash will take place at Shilpa Shetty’s famous restaurant, Bastian.
DJ Ganesh confirmed that he will be playing at Sonakshi and Zaheer’s wedding party. Speaking with Dubai Brew, he said, “Sonakshi has a private reception at Bastian at Dadar. I think there’s a 1,000 people invited. So, I think it will have full-on Bollywood mix-off till 4 in the morning.”
Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal are getting married after dating for seven years. The actress’ father, veteran actor Shatrughan Sinha was upset that she had not kept him informed about her wedding plans. But he eventually gave her his blessings.
“Shadiyan sab ke ghar hoti hain. Pre-wedding conflicts are also common. We are all okay now. Whatever the stress has been sorted,” he told Times Now and added, “Koi wand nahi hai. Yeh sab hota hi hai har shaadi main. Just because she is Shatrughan Sinha’s daughter, it doesn’t mean Sonakshi can’t have what she wants in life. Hum log bohot maza karenge June 23 ko.”
“It is the wedding reception that we are all attending on the evening of June 23,” he said. “No one from my family said anything about a wedding. Some media outlets have just been presuming things. Too much attention is being given to something that is a private family matter,” Shatrughan added.
Sonakshi and Zaheer are getting married today, June 23. On Sunday evening, the couple is hosting a wedding party in Shilpa Shetty’s restaurant, Bastian. The list of invitees includes Salman Khan, Honey Singh, the cast of Heeramandi, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Daisy Shah and Poonam Dhillon among others.
