Siddharth Anand has a knack of showing his stars in a glamourous avatar. Be it Shah Rukh Khan in Pathaan or Hrithik Roshan in Bang Bang, War or Fighter and even Deepika Padukone. With Pathaan, Siddharth treated fans a never-before-seen avatar of Shah Rukh, showing him flaunt his abs. He has done the same with Deepika in Pathaan and Fighter, and Hrithik in the three movies they have collaborated on. While it was revealed last year that Shah Rukh needed a little convincing to flaunt his body because he was shy, News18 asked Siddharth if he had to convince Hrithik and Deepika for these scenes.
The filmmaker confessed it was not a task. “Not at all,” he said, leaving everyone in splits. “Trust me. It’s not easy to convince them, first of all. Honestly, it stems from confidence that they have. They have confidence of themselves, of their appearance, about how good-looking they are. Just look at them. Inko kuch bolne ki zaroorat nahi padti hai (They don’t have to say anything,)” he said.
“Like I have said in other interviews, just see how gorgeous they are looking. Honestly, I don’t need to do anything. Just roll it at 48 frames and make them walk and put good music,” he explained before Hrithik intrupted and said, “You can trust Sid.”
“Jokes apart, it’s not easy to look like this. I think they put in a lot of effort, and the one word that I actually use is sacrifice. There’s a lot of sacrifice that goes into looking like this, and they are relentless. They know what to wear to the beach or while dancing. Imagine us dancing shirtless. Every part is going to be jumping. They are like rock; they are sculpted, and it’s a lot of effort that goes into it,” Sid added.
The Fighter trailer has already revealed that Hrithik and Deepika are going to be hottest people on the screen this month. The duo’s chemistry is sizzling and they also share a few intimate scenes that has already got people talking.
Fighter is set to release on January 25.
