Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone & Team Fighter Pay Tribute To Warriors On Air Force Day

Fighter, billed as India’s first aerial action film, would have famous film industry personalities Deepika Padukone, Hrithik Roshan, and Anil Kapoor on screen together for the first time. The film revolves around the Indian Air Force. October 8 is regarded as Air Force Day and was formally created in 1932. On this special occasion, Deepika Padukone, Hrithik Roshan, and Anil Kapoor paid tribute to the warriors of Indian Air Force Day with a heartfelt post.

Sharing a photo with the words “Air Force Day” inscribed on it and the song Vande Mataram playing in the background. In the caption, the actors wrote, “pride & glory and carry with them an unwavering commitment to ensure our nation’s safety & security. This Air Force Day, team #Fighter salutes the Warriors of our glorious Indian Air Force!”

Many of their fans took to social media and expressed their eagerness for the film. One of them wrote, “Absolutely can’t wait for fighter,” while another remarked, “Just start the promotions already. Many are also rooting to see Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone on screen together. A fan wrote, “Can’t wait to see Hripika.” Others also wished the warriors on the occasion and said, “Once again salute to our brave air warriors and rajrakshaks ‘Touch The Sky With Glory.’ “

Recently, Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone wrapped up their shoot schedule in Italy. A snapshot of the actors from the set of Fighter had surfaced online. Although Hrithik and Deepika have not revealed much about the shoot routines, the picture indicated that the cast and crew were in full production mode. Hrithik wore a blue tee with a black jacket in the photo, while Deepika wore a white outfit with kohl-covered eyes. The duo was drinking coffee with director Siddharth Anand and other Fighter crew members.

As per a Mid Day report, the duo was filming two songs for the movie with choreographer Bosco Martis. Vishal Dadlani and Shekhar Ravjiani’s song would be a peppy dance number, akin to Hrithik’s song Ghungroo from the 2019 film War. The second song is a romantic ballad between the two actors.

The first look for Fighter was shared on Independence Day this year. The motion poster shows three combat planes flying through the sky as the three main actors, Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone, and Anil Kapoor, approach one by one, dressed in their Air Force uniforms.

Directed by Siddharth Anand, the aerial action-packed thriller film will hit the big screen on January 25, 2024.
