The News18 Showsha Reel 2024 nominations are out and all eyes are on the Best Actress category. Like every year, this year too News18 Showsha Reel Awards has handpicked actresses who have delivered memorable performances in 2023. As audience, we were treated to a range of performances. While Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif delivered action-packed performances in Pathaan and Tiger 3, respectively, Alia Bhatt delivered an emotional performance in Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani.

Kiara Advani (Satyaprem Ki Katha): Kiara Advani also had everyone in tears with her hard-hitting performance in Satyaprem Ki Katha. It was undoubtedly one of the best performances on the year.
Rashmika Mandanna (Animal): Rashmika Mandanna was seen playing Geetanjali, Ranvijay Singh (Ranbir Kapoor) in the Sandeep Reddy Vanga film. The actress became the talk of the town owing to her performance, especially the monologue which displayed her never-before-seen side.
Katrina Kaif (Tiger 3): It was not only the year of action heroes but action heroines as well and Katrina Kaif was one such example. She was seen performing some impressive stunt scenes that left fans asking for more.
Shraddha Kapoor (Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar): Shraddha Kapoor left everyone swooning with her performance in Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar. Playing the role of Nisha, Shraddha brought the screen to life with her peppy avatar.
Janhvi Kapoor (Bawaal): With Bawaal, Janhvi Kapoor has shown that she has come a long way as an actress. She held the spotlight and how in several scenes.
