Aamir Khan is one of the exceptional actors in the industry who has delivered many major hits in his illustrative career. His eldest son, Junaid Khan who likes to stay away from the limelight prefers to travel by public transport. You don’t believe us? Well, Aamir Khan revealed this information in an interview at News18 India’s Amrit Ratna 2023 event. He talked about his son who likes to use the train and bus for commuting.
The Dangal actor said, “He is 30 now, and since his childhood, I wanted to buy a car for him. But to this day, he hasn’t allowed me to buy the car. He still uses public transport. He travels by bus and train.” In the same interview, he also narrated an incident of his son ditching luxury and travelling to faraway places using public transport. He said that once Junaid had to travel to Bengaluru from Pondicherry (Puducherry) to attend a friend’s wedding. To reach there, he chose to travel by a state bus instead of a flight. Aamir Khan also shared that his son is very independent and loves to live his life in his own way.
For the unversed, Junaid Khan is the son of Aamir Khan from his first marriage to Reena Dutta, with whom he also shares a daughter named Ira Khan. Ira got married to her long-time beau, Nupur Shikhare.
On the professional front, Junaid Khan is all set to make his debut with the movie Maharaj, directed by Malhotra P. Siddharth. It will star Jaideep Ahlawat, Jamie Alter and Shalini Pandey in key roles. It is slated to release on the OTT platform on Netflix.
