Alia Bhatt goofed up while interacting with the media about her National Award win but corrected herself immediately in a video now going viral. On Tuesday, Alia attended the National Film Awards 2023 ceremony with Ranbir Kapoor in New Delhi and accepted the Best Actress award. She was honoured with the award for her performance in Gangubai Kathiawadi. The actress appeared to be overwhelmed with emotions after receiving the 96th National Film Award.

After the ceremony ended, Alia was welcomed by a sea of media who were trying to get her reaction about the win. “Kitna bada moment hai aapke liye?” a journalist was heard asking. “Bahut hi bada moment hai as usual,” Alia said before she realised that she mispoke and meant to use the word ‘obviously.’ “I mean but obvious (she laughed). Alia chose to re-wear her wedding saree for the National Film Award ceremony. The decision was happily welcomed by internet users as they lauded her for recycling her outfit.

Apart from Alia, the big winners of the night were Allu Arjun and Kriti Sanon. Allu Arjun won the Best Actor award for his performance in the blockbuster Telugu film, Pushpa: The Rise. Allu Arjun made history with the win, becoming the first Telugu actor to bring home the National Award for Best Acting. Meanwhile, Kriti Sanon bagged the Best Actress for Mimi. She and Alia Bhatt shared the Best Actress Award. The trio posed together after the ceremony and the photo of the same has gone viral. Alia was also seen posing for a few pictures with Kriti.
