Petrol, and Diesel Prices on September 30: The prices of petrol and diesel remained largely constant on Saturday, September 30, across major cities like New Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai, and Chennai. Among other cities, the price of petrol in Hyderabad stood at Rs 109.66 and Rs 97.82 per litre. In Bhopal, petrol stood at Rs 108.65 and diesel at Rs 93.90 per litre. In Patna, petrol was selling at Rs 107.24 per litre and diesel was at Rs 94.04.

In India, oil marketing companies (OMCs) such as Indian Oil, Bharat Petroleum and Hindustan Petroleum determine petrol and diesel prices. This is done on a daily basis, and rates are determined in accordance with the price of crude oil throughout the world.
