Ram Temple Trust Releases Photos Showing Construction of First Floor in Ayodhya | See Pics
Ram Temple trust's general secretary Champat Rai last week shared photos of the sanctum-sanctorum of the temple

Ahead of the consecration ceremony of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya next month, the Sri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirath Kshetra Trust has released pictures of the ongoing construction work of the first floor of the temple on Friday.

Talking to X (formerly Twitter), Sri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirath Kshetra Trust shared the pictures of the ongoing work and wrote, “Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir first floor – Construction Progress.”

Before the consecration ceremony next month, a procession of tableaux displaying scenes from the life of Lord Rama with 100 idols of the deity will be taken out in Ayodhya on January 17 to mark the start of the celebrations.

Last week, the temple trust’s general secretary and VHP leader Champat Rai had shared photos of the sanctum-sanctorum (garbha griha) of the temple.

In the consecration ceremony, the idol of Ram Lalla will be placed in the sanctum-sanctorum of the newly built Ram temple and thereafter it will be opened for devotees.

The consecration ceremony, scheduled for January 22, will be attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath along with hundreds of dignitaries.

At least 3,000 candidates have applied for posts of priests at the Ram temple after the Ram Mandir Teerth Kshetra Trust advertised vacancies. Of these, 200 candidates were selected for interviews on the basis of merit.

Meanwhile, the Maryada Purshottam Shri Ram International Airport in Ayodhya is also all set for its launch. While the first inaugural flight will take off from the Ram temple-themed airport on December 30, regular flights will start from January 6.
