The reshuffle is expected to take place before Prime Minister Narendra Modi leaves for his Africa trip on July 6.
Sources said that BJP president Amit Shah and Finance Minister Arun Jaitley will be meeting Modi on Wednesday night to finalise the list. Some Cabinet ministers are likely to face the axe while some ministers of state might be elevated.
Gorakhpur MP Yogi Adityanath, Saharanpur MP Raghav Lakhanpal, BJP Uttar Pradesh vice president Shiv Pratap Shukla are likely to be inducted into the cabinet.
Other names doing the round are Etah MP Rajveer Singh, Mirzapur MP Anupriya Patel, Mangaldoi MP Raman Deka and BJP leader from Madhya Pradesh Vinay Sahasrabuddhe.
Law Minister DV Sadananda Gowda is expected to be ousted from the Cabinet.
The Cabinet will get a new minister of state for sports (independent charge), a post which fell vacant after Sarbananda Sonowal became the Chief Minister of Assam.
The reshuffle is expected to be followed by organisational changes.
