Tirunelveli: A day after Chief Minister Jayalalithaa accused the Centre of being "indifferent" towards the state, MoS in the Prime Minister's Office V Narayanasamy on Saturday asked Tamil Nadu government to stop finding fault with the Union Government over all issues.
Congress-led UPA has never discriminated against non-Congress ruled states, he said at a public meeting here to drum up support for the early commissioning of the Koodankulam Nuclear Power project.
He said the Centre has also extended help on the Sri Lankan Tamils issue.
Taking a swipe at the Congress-led UPA in the state Assembly yesterday, Jayalalithaa had blamed Central Ministers in UPA from Tamil Nadu for their "indifferent" attitude to the state even when it sought financial assistance for relief and restoration work after cyclone 'Thane' hit Cuddalore and Villupuram districts.
"I'm blaming the central ministers in the UPA government who are being indifferent.I am referring to people like Chidambaram who are ministers from this state and yet to do anything," Jayalalithaa had said.
