Harminder Singh Gill of INC has defeated SAD's Adesh Partap Singh Kairon to win the seat in Patti.

The ruling Samajwadi Party (SP) in Uttar Pardesh had in 2012 won 224 of these seats spread across 75 districts. It has tied-up with Congress this time in the contest against BJP and Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP).

Elections to 403 seats of Uttar Pradesh were held over 7 phases from February 4 to March 8.

Counting is on for the Arya Nagar seat, constituency No. 214 of Uttar Pradesh legislative assembly.

Counting is on for Nainital seat, constituency No. 58 of the Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly.

Sidharth Sripad of Bharatiya Janta Party on Saturday won the Panaji assembly constituency. He got 7,924 votes.

Ganesh Joshi from BJP wins with 41322 votes.
