The new LG Nexus 5 2015 will have a joint launch with Android M- Google’s latest upgrade to the Lollipop mobile OS- which is expected to be released in the third-quarter.

New Delhi: Latest details about the launch of LG-made Google Nexus smartphone indicate that the flagship device could land in the hands of consumers sooner than expected.

The search giant has been long rumoured to bring out two Nexus devices which would be made by LG and Huawei. While the one made by LG, dubbed LG Nexus 5 2015, is expected to sport a 5-inch screen, the Huawei-made Nexus is expected to be phablet sized at 5.7 inches.

Although Google is known for announcing its Nexus devices in the fourth quarter, leaks on Geeksnack hint that the new LG Nexus 5 2015 will have a joint launch with Android M- Google’s latest upgrade to the Lollipop mobile OS- which is expected to be released in the third-quarter.

The LG-made Nexus is also speculated to include a superior 3D camera and run on Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chipset and be the first smartphone based on Android M.

As Google will be offering a Preview 3 set to developers in late July, we could expect the final version to be released by the end of Q3 and LG Nexus 5 2015 could also make its way around the same time.
