New Delhi: Apple music service fans might see its upcoming premium version going live by this summer. Billboard says that the service-the next evolution of Beats Music - could have a spring launch, but it is certain to reach consumers by summer.
According to 9to5Mac, Apple could use the iOS 8.4 update which will potentially put the on-demand, premium service into the hands of millions of iPhone users without making them download a standalone app.
It is speculated that Apple would integrate Beats' features, curated playlists, and social/sharing functionality directly into the Music app.
However, there are sources who have called the development of the new app 'a mess' as the making of the new premium music service hasn't been going smoothly.
The Billboard report further hinted that Apple is working with Beats Music to drive out 'spam' tracks out of its ecosystem.
