Google could soon let you have a custom Gmail address at $2/month

New Delhi: For long, Google for work allowed users to make custom Gmail addresses. However, the search giant now wants to bring out a relatively cheaper option to let Gmail users have their own custom Gmail address.

The new feature would allow you to switch to a [email protected] email address for your existing standard Gmail account for a price of $2 per month per user.

GSMarena spotted the feature and reports that for that price, Google offers only the custom address and nothing extra. Gmail for work and Gmail for work unlimited come with additional online storage and other business tools.

It is yet unconfirmed if the feature will be rolled out to all Gmail users anytime soon.
