Google Pixel 9 series phones and the Pixel 9 Pro Fold launch had a few other guests which includes the new Pixel Watch 3 model. The supposed Apple Watch and Samsung Galaxy Watch rival is looking to up the ante with its focus on fitness, design and AI to some extent. Pixel Watch 3 comes in 41mm and 45mm sizes and you can pick them up in different bright colours.

Google Pixel Watch 3 has launched in India with both the sizes available for more buyers. The 41mm Wi-Fi model of the Pixel Watch 3 costs Rs 39,900 while the bigger 45mm Wi-Fi model is priced at Rs 43,900. Pixel Watch 3 sale details will be shared later this month.

The Pixel Watch 3 gets an Actua display like the Pixel phones and Google claims bezels are 16 percent smaller but with more active screen estate to view maps, messages and more. The display offers 2000 nits of brightness and supports up to 60Hz refresh rate.
The Pixel Watch 3 will benefit from Google’s Fitbit ecosystem for advanced fitness features and auto sensors to detect sleep, activities and more.
The watch is part of the ecosystem so a Google TV can be controlled from the wrist. You can even record videos or take selfies from the Pixel Watch 3 paired with a Pixel phone. Google says the Pixel Watch 3 can run for 24 hours in a day which will have to be tested to ascertain the claims.
The smartwatch is powered by the WearOS platform that continues to evolve and Google will need to show a lot more on the health front to attract people using the other premium wearables and the Apple Watch.
