As the launch for the Xiaomi Mi 6C draws near, the smartphone has started ranking high on the rumours surrounding it. A recent report by GizmoChina attests to the same, revealing that the smartphone has been spotted on the internet. It is not confirmed that the new bezel-less design by Xiaomi is that of the Mi 6C but linking it to all the previous rumours and the fact that the device might be priced around 1499 Yuan (~Rs 14,500) puts Mi 6C as the top guess for the rendered leaks.
As per the leaks, the bezels on the device are still not negligible but much lesser than the ones found on any other budget Xiaomi device. Additionally, the renders show a metal body design with dual speakers at the bottom chin and what seems to be a USB Type-C port. The top bezel carries a dual lens setup for the selfie camera along with an LED flash and the earpiece speaker in the middle. The image does not reveal much on the back of the smartphone but a fingerprint sensor along with its camera setup can be expected.

If other rumours surrounding the upcoming Xiaomi device are to be believed, the Xiaomi Mi 6C will be launched in China next month. The device may be powered by Xiaomi’s own Surge S3 SoC and a Mali G71MP8 GPU. It is expected to carry 4GB /6GB RAM options and sport a 2.5D curved glass. If it is launched at the expected price point, the smartphone will be the first by Xiaomi to carry an 18:9 bezel-less display in the budget segment.
