Vineet Raina, a television personality known for his appearances in popular dramas, is preparing to exchange wedding vows this December. The actor, who was most recently seen on Sony SAB’s Dil Diyaan Gallaan, is reportedly poised to marry his girlfriend, Apeksha Raina, a dedicated nurse who hails from Jammu. The couple’s love story began three years ago when they met in the city, and their romance has evolved into a deep and lasting bond since then.
A report by ETimes quoted a source as saying, “Vineet and Apeksha developed an instant liking for each other. However, they chose to let their relationship evolve gradually and organically. The two had originally planned to get married in the latter part of 2024. Their idea was to spend enough time together and get to know each other more before they took the plunge. However, they eventually decided to advance their big day. The wedding is being planned according to the Kashmiri Hindu rituals.”
The source went on to note that it was good on the actor’s part who decided to give marriage another chance. The actor was earlier wedded to actress Tanushree Kaushal. The actor duo, who decided to part ways, eventually got divorced in 2011. The news portal, however, could not get an official confirmation on the developments from Vineet himself.
In a previous interview with ETimes last year, Vineet Raina said that his parents were looking for a bride and were hopeful about the actor making progress in his personal life. He further informed that his parents had been meeting people for the same reason. “While things may have not progressed yet, I think I will meet someone special soon given the vibe I am getting from them. I am focussing on settling on the personal front. Until then, I want to work,” Vineet noted.
Talking about his professional life, Vineet said that he has been working really hard and that the content of any project is what matters to him. “As an actor, I have worked really hard to reach where I am today. For me, the content should excite me in terms of story and my character. Size of the role actually never ever bothered me,” the actor said.
