Rubina Dilaik has been a strong advocate for body positivity throughout her pregnancy journey, and her maternity fashion was truly inspiring. Recently, Rubina shared a collection of throwback photos from her pregnancy on Instagram.

In the stunning pictures, Rubina Dilaik is seen flaunting her baby bump in a vibrant bikini as she poses by a poolside. To layer the swimwear, she also wore a white shirt which she kept unbuttoned to add a flattering touch to her look. The former Bigg Boss winner rounded off her look with black sunglasses. In one of the pictures, she also cradles her baby bump. Captioning the nostalgic post, Rubina wrote, “A Year Ago…… time “TRULY” flies.”

Abhinav Shukla and Rubina Dilaik, who have been married since 2018, announced their pregnancy in September 2023. They welcomed their twin baby daughters on November 27 whom they named – Jeeva and Edhaa.

Rubina Dilaik, who has been vocal about her journey through motherhood, frequently shares insights on the challenges and experiences that come with it. Since the birth of her babies, she has been open about the realities of parenting, offering her perspective and advice. Rubina said, “Mujhe aisa lagta tha ki mera profession jo hai (Earlier I used to think that only my profession), it is demanding. But when you’re acting, you have to be on your toes for 18-20 hours, shooting and looking good and having that energy. Hats off to mothers who do it endlessly, without any complaint and are always in great spirit and enthusiasm and are always there for their kid.”

Despite the challenges, Rubina Dilaik is dedicated to her fitness and hopes to get back in shape soon. Recently, in a vlog shared on YouTube, the actress mentioned that the inconsistent routine, constant travelling and imbalanced eating habits have been hurdles in her fitness journey. However, she has incorporated intermittent fasting into her routine which she constantly practices three times a week to ensure the proper functioning of her body. She said, “I want to get back and I’m constantly trying.” Rubina, in her vlog, also highlighted that yoga and balanced eating are the keys to good health.
