Bank Employees Shocked As Woman Writes 'Libra' In Amount Column On Deposit Slip
In the viral video, a deposit slip from the State Bank of India is seen which reportedly belongs to a woman named Sangeeta.

Filling out the forms in the bank can be complicated for many people. The less educated and strange to these financial institutions often make up hilarious mistakes. A picture of a deposit slip from the State Bank of India is widely shared on social media. In this, a woman has filled the deposit form with all the required details but made a mistake in the ‘Amount’ column. The video has gone viral.

In the trending video, a deposit slip from the State Bank of India is seen which reportedly belongs to a woman named Sangeeta. She deposited Rs 2,000 in her account. She filled all the information correctly like account number and name. In the deposit slip, the amount column was also written as ‘Rashi’ in Hindi translation. Confused by the translation, the woman writes her Zodiac sign. She writes Libra in the amount column. The bank employees were reportedly shocked by this information. The deposit slip is dated June 18. Netizens are doubting the authenticity of the video. Many believe that this is a made-up video which was created to attract viewers. The clip is shared by an Instagram user named Smartprem19. The clip has gone viral now. “Bank waale sadme me (Translation: Bank employees shocked)” captioned the video.

Netizens were quick to pass humorous comments under the post. Some went into the details of astrology and said that Sangeeta cannot have a zodiac sign of Libra. “Libra sign is from R, S is from Aquarius sign. It is done knowing that someone is in the bank for help. Illiterate people are also using mobile phones today. They are faster than educated people.” wrote one of the users while explaining the reasoning behind the video. Some also pointed out the complicated terms used in banks for the reason of confusion. Others pointed out the lack of common sense in the woman.

It is not the first time that someone made the same mistake. A deposit slip from Indian Bank went viral some time ago in which a woman wrote Libra in the amount column. The bank reportedly allowed the deposition and it was dated April 12.
