A Brazilian model and OnlyFans content creator was found floating lifeless in the waters of Key Biscayne, Florida on September 21 after attending a yacht party. The passing of Adriana Vieira, 31, who was also famous on social media as Lady Rich Forever, has led to many questions regarding the event that caused her death. Notably, on the night of the incident, Vieira was at a party on the yacht of an unnamed rapper.
As per the Miami New Times, she went swimming only to disappear underwater and fail to resurface. Emergency services were alerted around approximately 8:30 pm but she was found dead by the Miami Police Department and Miami-Dade Fire Rescue in the vicinity around 200 Rickenbacker Causeway. She was rushed to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center but was pronounced dead upon arrival.
The Miami-Dade Medical Examiner’s report states that the cause of death was drowning and was negative for any drugs. This case is at present considered as an unclassified death by the authorities while the coroner’s office awaits additional information from the medical examiner.
Antonia de Lourdes Vieira, the mother of Vieira, is afraid that her daughter might end up being buried in a “pauper’s grave”. She was quoted by a Brazilian news outlet as stating, “I want my daughter’s death to be investigated and help [bring] her body back. I don’t know how long it will be until she is buried as a pauper. I need my daughter’s body to be transported and…[to] find out what happened.”
Vieira, who was born and raised in Sao Paulo, moved to Florida with her husband Roberto Tesario and their six-year-old son about two years back. Vieira stayed back in the US and single-handedly took care of the child while creating a massive online presence. She had more than 500,000 followers on Instagram and shared glamorous material in addition to adult content on OnlyFans. Her last activity on Instagram was a picture on the yacht with two women against a backdrop of sunset and champagne.
Vieira was active during Miami Swim Week in July 2023 and had dreams of being both a model and musician. Her OnlyFans account was reported to contain the adult content that she was providing for a $14 per month subscription.
In the ongoing investigation, the police have not ruled out whether an act of criminal intent was involved. It is not clear which rapper hosted the yacht party and the man has not been in any way linked to the death of Vieira. The Miami Police are now collecting details as to how Vieira got into the water on that particular night.
