Caught On Cam: Biker Smashes Bengaluru Man's Car Window With Coconut Shell In Broad Daylight

In a shocking incident, a man in Bengaluru man found himself under attack when an individual on a scooter launched a “planned attack” on him. The distressing incident was captured by a dash camera installed in the car, providing a chilling visual of the encounter. Deepak Jain took to X (Formerly Twitter) to share a detailed thread explaining his ordeal. According to the details, the incident took place on Vibgyor High School Road on June 2 at around 11:40 am.

“Today, I faced a terrifying and unprovoked attack. Even after ~9 hours, I’m still in shock. This seems to be a planned attack,” Jain wrote.

Describing the incident, Jain recounted how a grey Ola scooter suddenly overtook his car from the left side. A few hundred meters later, he realised that the man on the scooter was following him, yelling, shouting and honking for him to stop. The scooter rider then blocked his path and parked in front of his car.

The man “in a fit of rage” picked up a coconut shell from the roadside and smashed Jain’s right-side car window. He forced Jain to open the door and then broke the outer rearview mirror, all while shouting aggressively.

Not only this, Jain detailed another unsettling incident that occurred before this. “Adding to the horror, a grey Renault Triber (KA 04 MW 2000) attempted to obstruct my way about ~300 meters ahead of the incident. I suspect they might be part of the same gang, given the suspicious behaviour of the driver,” he wrote.

Following the incident, Jain filed a complaint at the Varthur Police Station. His harrowing incident caught the attention of online users who expressed shock and concern in the comment section.

One user commented, “The way he instantly picked up the coconut shell, it looks as if he knew that the coconut shell would be kept there… Definitely pre-planned…”

Another added, “You are a wise man because you have installed a dash cam in your car. Such incidents are common in Karnatka and set to increase in other parts of the nation. Could be a well organised gang on prowl to loot,extort people. Lets hope they are arrested soon.
