The long, elaborated debate over the best Lay’s chips flavour continues, still making it difficult to choose just one of them. While some love the Magic Masala flavour, others end up taking sides with the Cream & Onion. While we are yet to choose the best of the best, Lay’s made it even more confusing by introducing additional flavours, thus increasing the discussion among chips lovers. To avoid such extended debates over purchasing a packet of chips, a shopkeeper recently took up a creative approach at his shop.
In a picture going viral, a hilarious signboard could be seen installed on the chips stand with a witty message that asks customers not to loiter in the shop over the flavour to purchase. “Dukaan par khade hoke ‘konsa lays lu’ sochna mana hai. Kripya apne ghar se soch ke aaye (Thinking over the flavour of Lay’s to purchase is not allowed. Please decide at your home and come),” the message reads.

Social media users couldn’t help but relate to it, as many fall into the same category and are always confused about their favourite flavours. A user wrote, “Even if I decide on it at home, it will still be confusing upon seeing so many options at the shop,” while another commented, “Life was good when only red, blue, and yellow Lay’s were there.”
“I can’t sharma ji, it’s not that easy,” another comment read. A user hilariously commented, “I can confidently say that I’ve spent more time picking a lays flavour than I did picking my career.”
Another wrote, “Tbh that is the most fun part. Discussing with your friends and taking a very long time to buy a packet that is 75% air.”
Shared a few days ago, the post has garnered over 17,000 upvotes on Reddit, followed by numerous funny comments. This is not the first time a hilarious sign at a shop has caught the internet’s attention. Earlier, another picture gained a lot of traction showing a notice that asks people to pay Rs 10 for asking for an address. A man could be seen dozing right outside the shop, seemingly tired of being the human GPS for passersby.
