‘I Have Lemonade’: Noida Man’s Heartfelt Message For Delivery Men Viral
Very few people actually care about the plight of the food delivery guys who have it pretty rough.

Gone are the days when you had to go out in the scorching heat or the frost biting cold to catch a piece of snack if you were hungry and the fridge was empty. Now, food comes to your doorstep with a press of a few buttons on your phone. Food Delivery apps have revolutionised the way restaurants work and has become an industry of its own. Whether you feel like munching on some fries or want a scrumptious meal consisting of biryani, you can always count on the food delivery guy to get it to you in time. Very few people actually care about the plight of the food delivery guys who have it pretty rough. Often they have to reach their locations on time and are out in the summer heat, without the time to stop for a cola or juice break.

There are, however, some kind hearted people who take the plight of the delivery guys into consideration and show them gestures of kindness, an act which was recently exhibited by Noida resident Pankaj Kumar.

Pankaj Kumar, a resident of ACE Aspire Society in Greater Noida West, wrote a heartfelt message and posted it on the door of his house for the delivery boy, acknowledging the scorching heat. His thoughtful gesture has gone viral on social media.

Pankaj Kumar wrote, “It is very hot, don’t be shy. I have lemonade. You can ask for it. I will not mind”. Although primarily meant for delivery guys, Pankaj has said that it also applies to others including guards. He explained that the idea came to him when he went out in the scorching heat. On his way back, he felt very thirsty but couldn’t find any water to drink on the roadside. This made him wonder about the conditions faced by delivery workers in such heat. As a result, he wrote a message on a white paper and pasted it on his gate.

Pankaj Kumar emphasised that while he may not be able to physically serve people on the streets, he believes in cultivating a positive feeling in his mind and heart. His message is specifically directed towards delivery boys who frequently visit his house or neighbourhood. He extends this message to any society resident or guard who accompanies them to his floor, aiming to spread kindness and consideration in the community.
