In a bizarre and alarming series of events, a 24-year-old man from Soura village in Uttar Pradesh’s Fatehpur district was bitten by snakes six times in just six weeks. Each time, the man, identified as Vikas Dubey, miraculously survived after receiving medical treatment, leaving doctors astonished. The unusual incidents began on June 2 when Vikas was bitten for the first time while getting out of bed at 9 pm. Subsequently, he was rushed to a private nursing home where he recovered after a two-day treatment. Despite taking precautions, Vikas was bitten again on June 10 and then on June 17, both times at his home. Each incident led to his hospitalisation and recovery.
The frequency of snakebites intensified as Vikas was bitten again on June 21 and then on July 2, prompting relatives and doctors to advise him to temporarily relocate away from his home. However, the streak of unfortunate events persisted as Vikas was bitten yet again on Saturday, July 6, while staying at his uncle’s house in Soura village.
Currently undergoing treatment at a private hospital, Vikas continues to recover from his latest encounter with the venomous reptile, with his family members expressing deep concern over his safety. Reflecting on the uncanny timing of each snakebite incident, Vikas shared that he got a premonition every time before being bitten, and strangely, it was always on either a Saturday or a Sunday.
Local authorities are baffled by the unusual pattern of snake attacks on Vikas Dubey and are closely monitoring his situation as investigations into the matter continue. For now, Vikas Dubey remains under medical supervision, hoping to put an end to this extraordinary string of snakebite incidents that has gripped his life in recent weeks.
