US Writer Finds Her Late Mother's Last Note And It Will Leave You Teary-eyed

This Mother’s Day was special for a writer named Blake Turck living in the US. She has described it in an article for The Washington Post. Blake wrote that she found many things in her late mother Deborah’s New York apartment. One of those possessions includes a diary.

Blake was flipping through the pages of the diary till she reached its back cover. In cursive, the content of the back pages read: “Life is not about waiting for the storms to pass…it’s about learning how to dance in the rain.” Blake wrote that these words have helped her to stay motivated during the tough moments of life.

According to the writer, eight years after she discovered the note, she lost a baby while being five months pregnant. Blake added that grief continued through more loss over the next five years. She had to face infertility as well, and during this time, the inspiring words written by her mother came to her rescue.

Blake then described in detail the problems her mother had to endure before the demise. As per the writer, Deborah had lost her father at a young age and her mother as well due to cancer. The Washington Post writer also added that her mother had to endure many health ailments and a difficult divorce as well. She died due to cancer.

Blake Turck added that throughout these stressful situations, Deborah remained loving and always preached her positivity. The writer remembered getting infuriated often and at that time, her mother gently urged her to calm down. The lady residing in the USA ended the article with the words,” In smaller moments of anxiety, or when I’m terrified of the future, its presence nudges me to be present and pause for gratitude. I hear her voice uttering those simple, still-cliché words, telling me it’s going to be okay. And I believe it.”
