Food is one thing which is very much prone to experimentation. Be it a local kiosk selling some unique blend of two different foods or you adding a different touch to a recipe at home, experimentation with food often makes its way to social media. However, not all of them are appealing and some of them are pure obnoxious with users calling them abominations.
We all know about the desi term jugaad, which implies an unconventional solution to a pressing problem. A group of friends seem to have found a jugaad for having no snacks with some liquor. And the solution is substituting the spiced water that accompanies a golgappa or pani puri with liquor. Yes, you read that right. The ‘pani’ in pani puri has been replaced by liquor in the viral video.
The video shows a plate of golgappas lying while a man holds a bottle of liquor in his hand. The bottle seems to imply that it is pure country liquor. A couple of men hold golgappas with a hole on top of them and where ideally one should pour chutney, spiced water, chickpeas and mashed potato, the man is seen pouring the alcohol inside the golgappa. To add a bit of hilarity to the scene, the nowadays popular background dialogue ‘Hey Prabhu’, which can be found in a lot of memes has been added to the video.
Needless to say, some users were far from being amused. Many thought it was a horrible combination and the people were wasting both the golgappas and the liquor. Someone hilariously said that the boys were trying to save water. Yet another comment said that drunkards would take alcohol with anything under the sun.
