The Pakistan cricket team had a dismal show at the T20 World Cup 2024. In their first two matches, Pakistan lost against the co-hosts USA, and arch-rivals India. Pakistan secured their first win of the competition against Canada. Despite that victory, Pakistan could not earn a berth in the Super Eight. Following Pakistan’s elimination, fans have lashed out at the team on social media. Pakistan’s batting order has been a major disappointment, apart from the side’s uninspiring fielding and lackluster bowling. Pakistan wicketkeeper Mohammad Rizwan, who recently registered the slowest half-century in T20 World Cup history, has also been subjected to criticism due to his sub-par strike rate.
While Mohammad Rizwan’s performance in the tournament remains a constant point of discussion, a spoof video of the Pakistan wicketkeeper has now left the Internet in splits. Social media users could not help but agree with how Rizwan has been struggling to deliver power-packed knocks.
In what seems to be a humorous jibe at Mohammad Rizwan’s sluggish half-century, the video features a man posing as the Pakistani cricketer along with others during a game. In the initial part of the video, a man can be seen dressed in the Pakistan jersey and taking his stance. After facing quite a few deliveries, he continued picking up singles, eventually breaching the 50-run mark facing 69 balls. Despite four runs required to win off the final ball, the man can be seen taking a single to complete his half-century.
These people are supremely creative. Deserves an Oscar. More original than our original Rizwan. ????

Social media users couldn’t stop from sharing their thoughts about the video.
A person wrote, “Totally agree,” while another commented, “Accurate.”

“Surprising he didn’t get hurt and didn’t try an easy single making it look diving effort and asking for changing gloves,” another person took a jibe.

Pakistan’s Group-Stage Exit From T20 World Cup
After conceding back-to-back defeats in the crucial matches against the USA and India, Pakistan failed to secure a promising start to their T20 World Cup 2024 journey. Pakistan’s elimination was confirmed after the game between the USA and Ireland washed out.
