New Delhi: Pakistan's former cricketing legend and political party Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf's (PTI) chairman Imran Khan isn’t new to controversies. From his tiffs with the big-wigs in politics to his not-so-stable personal life, there is nothing that is not known to the common public.
And recently, Khan gave his followers yet another chance to make himself a part of their gossip sessions. If reports are to be believed, PTI on Sunday confirmed that their chief had extended a marriage proposal to a woman named Bushra Maneka, a spiritual healer.
Days after the so-called rumours doing the rounds, Khan finally broke his silence and in a series of tweets said he is feeling like he has looted a bank or has revealed state secrets to India just because " he wants to get married."

Blaming former Pak Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif for the invasion into his and his kids' personal life, Imran tweeted:
"The vicious, gutter media campaign led by NS & MSR mafia does not bother me as respect & humiliation come from Allah Almighty."
Further adding to the series of tweets, Khan said, "I have known the Sharifs for 40 years and I know all their sordid personal lives but I would never stoop to the level of exposing these sordid details."

Khan in the end urged his fans and well-wishers to pray for his personal happiness, which he "has been deprived of for years."

As soon as the report of Khan's third marriage started doing the rounds, reactions of various political leaders also started pouring in.
"Congratulations to him. He [Imran Khan] will marry one more time before the 2018 elections," Federal Minister for Defence Production and Science and Technology Rana Tanveer quotedly said.
If things go Khan's way, this will be his third marriage. Earlier, Khan has experienced two unsuccessful marriages with Jemima Goldsmith and Reham Khan.
