Trump Calls Debate Holder ABC News ‘Dishonest’, Insists Questions Will Be Given To Kamala Beforehand: Report
Donald Trump at a town hall hosted by Fox News said he remains worried about the network hosting the debate rather than his opponent Kamala Harris.

Former US president Donald Trump attempted to cast doubts on the fairness of the debate that will be hosted by ABC News next week.

The broadcaster announced last month that the first US presidential debate between US vice president and Democrat presidential nominee Kamala Harris and Trump will take place at the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia on September 10.

He insisted while speaking to people gathered at a Fox News-hosted town hall on Wednesday that questions of the debate will be given to Harris ‘in advance’ while calling the broadcaster ‘dishonest’, according to a report by the New York Times.

The broadcaster has said earlier that no topics or questions would be provided to either candidate or campaign. Meanwhile, both campaigns have agreed to the rules of the debate.

The report by the newspaper said that Trump downplayed his need to prepare for the debate. He said his approach to the debate would be similar to the way he approached the debate with Joe Biden earlier this year.

“I let him talk — I’m going to let her talk. There are those that say that Biden is smarter than she is. If that’s the case, we have a problem,” Biden said.

Trump continued to claim that other countries were deliberately sending violent criminals and mentally ill individuals across the border, despite a lack of evidence, while accusing Harris of failing to reduce illegal migrant crossings.
