- Length and Cost: The 29-km-long expressway, constructed at a cost of Rs 4,100 crore, incorporates tunnels, underpasses, flyovers, and elevated structures to facilitate smoother traffic flow between Delhi and Gurugram, as reported by The Indian Express.
- Geographical Distribution: Stretching over 18.9 km in Haryana and 10.1 km in Delhi, the expressway promises to revolutionize travel experiences for commuters in the region.

The 10.1 km-long expressway in Delhi connects to Basai in Haryana and boasts an 8.6-km-long elevated section with an 8-lane main carriageway. Key features include:
- Traffic signal-free lanes
- Four vehicular underpasses
- Elevated service road at five major junctions
- Subways, footpaths, and cycle tracks
- Rainwater harvesting and groundwater recharge facilities
- Widest railway-over-bridge with 16 lanes
- One of the longest ‘bow spring steel bridges’ at 125 meters.
The foundation stone for the Dwarka Expressway was laid by former Union ministers Sushma Swaraj, Arun Jaitley, and Nitin Gadkari on March 9, 2019, marking a significant step towards enhancing urban infrastructure in the region.
