In a move to give a massive push to the business, the leading car maker Kia has announced the expansion of its network in India. As per the details shared via official release, the company has informed that it has stretched the network across 236 cities, allowing customers to enjoy the services at 522 touchpoints.

To reach more audiences and offer seamless accessibility, the company aims to grow the overall network close to 700 touchpoints in 300 cities. The deadline for the same has been set for the end of 2024. The decision has been taken to spread roots in India and boost the business in a competitive market.

Top Official’s Reaction to Expansion

Commenting about the development, Kia’s Head of Sales & Marketing in India, Hardeep Singh Brar said, “The car buying experience revolves around accessibility and convenience, which customers expect from a carmaker. In our country, purchasing a car is the second most important decision after buying a house, and to make this moment memorable, we have expanded our touchpoints network from 285 to 522 since starting our operations in India. As part of Kia’s 2.0 strategy, we are aiming to close the year with over 700 touchpoints, thereby making Kia more accessible to our esteemed customers.”

In addition, he said, “We are also committed to sustainability by introducing the green workshop concept and encouraging all our dealer partners to transition to eco-friendly workshops.

Overall Sales Points

Meanwhile, Kia has 337 Sales points, 350 Workshops, and 59 Certified Pre-owned outlets in the country. However, the company is gearing up to increase its Certified Pre-owned network, taking the overall numbers to 100. The target is said to be achieved by the end of 2024.

After Sales Service

Apart from this, the car manufacturer also offers aftersales services, using 54 Mobile Workshops for upcountry towns. It also has 110 Service Cars in some of the major cities, which helps to provide doorstep service to urban customers.
