What's better than a really fast Lamborghini Huracan? A faster Lamborghini Huracan!
That seems to be the ideology that gave birth to the most extreme Huracan offering yet – the Huracan Performante, and Lamborghini is set to launch it in India on April 7, 2017.
The car was unveiled at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show and will be one of the shortest time span taken by the Italian automaker to bring its latest product to India.
The changes in the new Huracan make it the fastest V10 powered car made by Lamborghini, ever.
It is powered a 5.2-litre V10 engine which makes a mouth-watering 640 horsepower and 600 Nm of torque and comes mated to a dual-clutch 7-speed gearbox In simple words, it can go from 0-100 km/h in just 2.9 seconds and attain a top speed of 325 km/h.
There have been several weight-saving measures too as several components are now built from forged composite carbon fibre which also includes the front and rear spoiler, engine cover, rear bumper and diffuser – all of which makes for a 40-kilo weight saving which eventually helps it go faster than before.
The car is expected to be priced at around Rs 3 crore mark. Watch this space for updates.
