Maruti Suzuki is gearing up for the launch of the most anticipated car of 2018 – the third-generation Swift. The Swift was first launched in 2005 as the first gen model, followed by the launch of the second gen model in 2011. And now the third gen model will be launched today soon. From exteriors to features, everything has been upgraded when compared to the outgoing model. Maruti Suzuki has already started accepting booking for the same for Rs 11,000. The front fascia has been revamped completely with a large grille, new headlights and even the new tail-lights. The protruded rear end looks sportier than ever.
The all-new Swift will be available with the trusted K12 VVT engine and DDiS 190 engine. Internationally, the new Swift is available with two engine options – a 1.0-litre BoosterJet engine that focuses on performance and a 1.2-litre DualJet engine. There’s also the 1.3-litre Diesel engine which can get the SHVS mild-hybrid offering which focuses on providing high fuel economy. Unveiled at 2017 Geneva International Motor Show, the new Swift is already available in the international market.
