Sharvari Wagh Buys New-Gen Mercedes-Benz GLC SUV Worth Rs 74.20 Lakh

Sharvari Wagh, best known for her roles in Bunty Aur Babli 2 and The Forgotten Army – Azaadi Ke Liye, has gifted herself a new Mercedes-Benz GLC.

The actress was recently seen taking delivery of her new prized possession, images of which the car dealership shared on social media. The new-generation Mercedes-Benz GLC was launched in August 2023, with prices starting at Rs 74.20 lakh (ex-showroom).

Mercedes-Benz GLC SUV: Features And Other Details

The Mercedes-Benz GLC of the second generation has a bolder three-pointed star logo on a larger grille. The profile is the same, but the LED headlights have been redesigned. A blacked-out bar on the tailgate connects the new, slimmer LED taillights to the rear. The 11.9-inch touchscreen information display in portrait mode and the 12.3-inch digital instrument console are just two of the many features that the cabin heavily borrows from the C-Class sedan.

Furthermore, a panoramic sunroof, heated front seats with memory function, 360-degree cameras, ambient lighting in 64 colours, and an air purifier are just a few of the features that the new GLC offers. It also comes with a virtual ‘transparent bonnet’ feature that shows what’s underneath the SUV by using the front camera.

For improved off-road capability, the model can also be raised by 20 mm. The new GLC SUV boasts an extensive feature list that includes seven airbags, pre-safe ADAS technology, and much more.

There are petrol and diesel engine options for the new generation GLC, though it’s unclear which version Sharvari Wagh chose. These include the GLC 220d, which is the more popular model with a 2.0-litre oil burner that produces 194 bhp and 440 Nm of peak torque, and the GLC 300, which has a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine tuned for 254 bhp and 400 Nm.

Additionally, the engines receive an integrated starter generator and a 48-volt mild hybrid system, which contribute to an additional 22.6 bhp and 200 Nm of power. The 4MATIC all-wheel drive system comes standard with both engines and a 9-speed automatic transmission.

Sharvari Wagh is currently working on two major projects. Her most recent appearance was in Bunty Aur Babli 2, which came out in 2021. Saif Ali Khan, Rani Mukerji, and Siddhant Chaturvedi also appeared in the film. She made her acting debut in The Forgotten Army: Azaadi Ke Liye alongside Sunny Kaushal. The actress will next be seen in Maharaja, a film directed by Siddharth P. Malhotra.
