After creating buzz all over the internet with spy shots and testing clips, Tata has finally shared an official teaser of the upcoming Altroz Racer. It has been reported that the launch might take place next month.

In the teaser, the hatchback flaunts its partial side profile, featuring a combination of dual-tone shades orange and black. It might feature the same sporty stripes on the hood and the bonnet, which was showcased at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo.

Here’s What to Expect

Most of the details about the vehicle have been revealed already. It has been learned that the model will follow the same footprints as the current model from outside. However, some noticeable cosmetic changes will be there to make it superior compared to its younger sibling.

The model will come with an improved front grill, and an updated LED headlight setup, paired with refreshed DRLs. It is expected to hit the market with the completely blacked-out roof as showcased in the teaser, followed by window surroundings and wheels.

Interior

Jumping inside the cabin, it will be treated with contrasting color tones and upholstery stitching. The customers can expect a robust 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, which will be supported by all wireless car connect technology, including Android, Apple and Auto CarPlay.

The other notable features include ventilated leatherette front seats, a voice-activated electric sunroof, a 360-degree camera with dynamic guidelines, automatic climate control, a wireless charging pad, a multi-functional-steering wheel with mounted controls. On the safety front, the model will have 6 airbags as standard.

Engine and Power

Under the hood, the Tata Altroz Racer will use a 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine, which churns out a maximum power of 118 bhp and 170 Nm of torque. The unit will be mated with both automatic and a 6-speed manual transmissions.
