The superhit song Tauba Tauba is the most trending Bollywood song at the moment. Ever since its release on July 2, the Punjabi song has become a rage. Against the backdrop of the song’s popularity, a comedian recently shared a video in which she mimics how hypothetically celebrities would react to Tauba Tauba. In her now-viral skit, Jamie Lever, the daughter of famous actor and comedian Johnny Lever, perfectly mimics celebrities like Kareena Kapoor Khan, Farah Khan, Sridevi, Kangana Ranaut, Sonam Kapoor, Ananya Panday and Rakhi Sawant.
Jamie Lever manages to capture the accents, pitch, and overall speaking style of the above-mentioned celebrities. While mimicking Kareena Kapoor, she uses words like “Oh My God” and “Fab” which the Jab We Met actor often uses. She then nails director Farah Khan’s deep baritone alongside the high-pitched voice of late actor Sridevi. Jamie Lever also nails the South Bombay accent of Sonam Kapoor and Ananya Panday. The talented comedian manages to capture the slightly disapproving tone of Kangana Ranaut. In the end, she mimics Rakhi Sawant by speaking in the seasoned entertainer’s self-congratulatory manner.
If one closes their eyes, for a second it appears as if the celebrities are actually speaking. This video has so far gathered over 1 million likes on Instagram within a day. In an Instagram Story, Jamie Lever mentioned that her video hit over 10 million views so far.

Tauba Tauba has so far gathered more than 39 million views on YouTube. It features Vicky Kaushal and Triptii Dimri who perfectly execute dance steps choreographed by Bosco Martis. The song is written, composed, and sung by up-and-coming Punjabi artist Karan Aujla. It is part of the upcoming Bollywood film Bad Newz which is set for release on July 19, 2024. Needless to say, Tauba Tauba has put both Bad Newz and artist Karan Aujla in the limelight.
