This Modified 50-Year Old Royal Enfield Bullet Diesel is Your Cure for the 'Monday Blues'
The 50-year-old Royal Enfield was converted to diesel by a previous owner for better fuel efficiency. The engine puts out 6.5hp and 15Nm of torque.

Royal Enfield motorcycles have for long been a favourite among customisation houses around the world. And over time we have seen numerous iteration of motorcycles that has outright stood out from the rest. On the same note is the motorcycle that we bring to you today. However, this is among a handful of motorcycles that has stood the test of time.

The bobber you see above is surprisingly a five-decade-old model and is powered by diesel. The project to modify the motorcycle was undertaken by Time Cycles in Madhya Pradesh’s Mhow. The modification was carried out on a 1959 Royal Enfield Bullet that was transformed into a diesel Bullet by its previous owner for better fuel efficiency.

In order to bring it to its final avatar, the customisation house had to strip the motorcycle of a few of its parts. Hence elements like a few body panels, mudguards, battery covers and chain guards among others had to go. The compression ratio on the suspension setup was altered and the motorcycle was also fitted with a set of 19-inch tyres. The handlebar was tweaked as well and now comes with leather wrapping and chrome-plated bar-end clutch and brake levers.

Also Watch:

Reports suggest that the motorcycle was completely pulled apart before building it from scratch. In its final attire, the motorcycle gets a custom blue paint job on the fuel tank, side panel, rear mudguard and head. The bike can now seat only one and the engine cover has been removed, exposing the flywheel.

The diesel bullet uses a 325-cc single-cylinder, the engine made by Greaves Lombardini in Italy. It puts out a maximum of 6.5bhp and 15Nm of peak torque.
