The second Vande Bharat Express on the New Delhi-Varanasi route is set to roll out its operations on Wednesday, December 20.
It was PM Narendra Modi who set the inaugural wheels in motion for this semi-high-speed marvel on November 18. Fans of the first Vande Bharat Express, introduced in February 2019, are in for a ride of comparisons and upgrades.
What Sets Apart the Second New Delhi-Varanasi Vande Bharat?
Distinguishing itself from its predecessor, the new Vande Bharat Express will kick off its journey from Banaras in the morning, charting a course that diverges from the Delhi-Banaras route, as reported by Times Now. Indian Railways anticipates this strategic alteration will effectively meet the demands of a distinct passenger group, catering to those headed to Delhi, Prayagraj, or Kanpur from Varanasi in the morning.
