Filmmaker Kiran Rao is one of the most notable filmmakers in Indian cinema. Time and again, she has mirrored society with her stories and has left a major impact through them. Having created a stir with the globally acclaimed film ‘Dhobi Ghat’, Kiran Rao is gearing up for the release of her next directorial, ‘Laapataa Ladies’, which is releasing in cinemas on March 1st, 2024.
The teaser of the film was released and it has left an impact on the masses and has also built the excitement to watch the film from Kiran Rao on big screens. Ahead of the film’s release, Kiran Rao is all set the event Kala Ghoda Art Festival 2024, which is ongoing in Mumbai from 20th January 2024 to 28th January 2024.
Locked its release on January 24, 2024, Tuesday, the trailer is all set for its arrival this week. Now, the excitement for the trailer is at a time high, and it’s hard to wait to see yet another intriguing tale coming from director Kiran Rao. The film has also received a standing ovation at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF).
The filmmaker will be registering her presence in the ongoing, 24th Edition of ‘Kala Ghoda Art Festival 2024’, which is happening in Mumbai. In the recent few years also, Kiran Rao has visited the Mahotsav.
Talking about the Kala Ghoda Art Festival 2024, it is an annual festival, which celebrates dance, cinema, music, theatre, food, and heritage walks.
Presented by Jio Studios, Laapataa Ladies is directed by Kiran Rao and produced by Aamir Khan and Jyoti Deshpande. The film is releasing on March 1st, 2024, and has been made under the banner of Aamir Khan Productions and Kindling Productions, with the script based on an award-winning story by Biplab Goswami. The screenplay and dialogue are written by Sneha Desai, while the additional dialogues have been jotted down by Divyanidhi Sharma.
