Shah Rukh Khan

Shah Rukh Khan has always been vocal about his love for the Indian Army. He began his career in the role of an Indian soldier in the TV serial Fauji(1989). In an interview with NDTV, the actor admitted that he wanted to join the Army. “I wanted to get into the army, for the sports part of it, for the physical part of it, and fighting — not fighting, but protecting your nation more than anything else.” said superstar Shah Rukh Khan during an interview.

Akshay Kumar

The actor was the son of an army officer. The desire to serve the nation was not unnatural for him. Akshay Kumar says that Patriotism is in his blood. In an interview with Hindustan Time, the actor said that besides teaching martial arts he desired to join the Indian Army. The actor has set up Bharat Ke Veer, an online initiative that helps people contribute to families of slain soldiers.

Ranvijay Singha

VJ turned actor Rannvijay Singha was all set to join the forces when he got a call for the reality show MTV Roadies. The five generations of his family have served in the Indian Army and he was about to become the sixth one. The actor has said on numerous platforms that if not for the showbiz industry, he would have been an army man.

Sonu Sood

It was a dream come true for Sonu Sood after he played the role of an Indian Army officer in the film Paltan which was directed by JP Dutta. The actor wanted to get into the Indian Army but then he decided to pursue engineering. He later got into movies. The actor tries to serve the nation by helping the poor and needy individuals.
