JetSetGo aims to revolutionise the aviation sector by creating a lifestyle that blends luxury, efficiency, and safety.

People who survive failures and hardships with resilience and a strong will come back stronger and achieve success in life. One such story is that of Kanika Tekriwal, who bounced back after overcoming various challenges.

Currently, Kanika Tekriwal is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of an aviation startup called JetSetGo, which aims to revolutionise the aviation sector by creating a lifestyle that blends luxury, efficiency, and safety.

In short, JetSetGo is a plane aggregator company that manages, operates, and flies chartered planes and helicopters. It is also popularly referred to as a marketplace for private jets and helicopters. But Kanika has had her fair share of challenges in life. Here’s a look at her journey:

Kanika Tekriwal was born into a Marwari family. After completing her initial education at the Lawrence School, she travelled to the UK to complete her higher studies at Coventry University. Initially, she wanted to become a pilot, but her dreams faced resistance from her conservative Marwari family.

After completing her education, she came back to India and joined her dream aviation company. But after some time, her life took an unexpected turn as she was diagnosed with cancer. After battling it and finally recovering, Kanika decided to shift to Delhi with limited funds and an abundance of determination.

Soon, she found JetSetGo and the rest is history. It was also reported that Kanika evolved the company from a marketplace to an aeroplane management firm. She has always kept her focus on ensuring transparent pricing and reliable service in the aviation sector. At that time, JetSetGo used to manage the largest fleet in the country without even owning many aircraft.

Kanika Tekriwal has added her name to the self-made women’s list, with a net worth of Rs 420 crore. Apart from that, Kanika is also a proud owner of 10 private jets.

Over the years, she has won various awards for her business acumen. Kanika was awarded the National Entrepreneurship Award by the Government of India and the Young Global Leaders Award by the World Economic Forum. She was also awarded the honour of “The Sky Queen” by Entrepreneur.
