Thalapathy Vijay is creating a buzz in the entertainment industry with his upcoming projects. The Tamil star will soon be greeting his fans with his most anticipated movie Leo, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. Apart from him, the film also stars actress Trisha Krishna and Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt. The music of the movie is composed by the renowned music composer Anirudh Ravichander. Leo is slated to release worldwide in theatres on October 19. Amid all this, the actor had also announced his 68th movie.
Now, according to some reports, it is believed that the actor Aravind Swamy is likely to play the role of villain in the movie.
Thalapathy68 will be written and directed by the renowned filmmaker Venkat Prabhu. The film will be produced under the banner of AGS Entertainment. The actor and this production house previously collaborated on the movie Bigil which was released in 2019.
The movie is expected to be made on a huge budget and will contain high-octane action scenes. AGS Entertainment posted the announcement video of the movie in June.
Now, according to reports the role of the villain in the movie is expected to be played by the antagonist of the movie Custody. Aravind Swamy gained widespread appreciation from the critics and the audience for his role in the movie Custody. It was also directed by Venkat Prabhu.
There is no official confirmation about the same from the makers. It is believed that the role of the villain will be a major highlight of the movie apart from Tamil superstar Thalapathy Vijay. Overall, it is believed that the role of the antagonist in the movie will be played by a well-known actor.
The makers have not revealed the whole cast of the movie yet. As per an OTT Play report, actress Jyothika could be seen playing the lead actress role in the movie. The duo have previously worked in the movies Kushi and Thirumalai. Kushi became the cult classic movie of the Tamil film industry. The music of the movie will be given by Yuvan Shankar Raja.
