Helmed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, Leo, also features Sanjay Dutt, Trisha Krishnan and Arjun Sarja in the lead. The film marks another collaboration between Vijay and Kanagaraj after the 2021 released Master. The music of Leo is composed by Anirudh Ravichander who is receiving immense praise for his work in films like Jailer and the recently released blockbuster film Jawaan.
Given the anticipation and excitement around the film, the makers filed a petition before the Madras High Court to allow the film to be screened as early as 4 a.m. across Tamil Nadu. However, the court refrained from giving the permission. The film has been allowed early morning shows in states including Kerala and Karnataka.
