Bigg Boss Tamil 7, ever since its premiere, garnered the maximum ratings and managed to win hearts for the intriguing ensemble of contestants and the captivating twists and turns. The popular reality show had a new surprise for the audience in every episode. Recently, Vichithra’s elimination during the Weekend Ka Vaar with Kamal Haasan led the show to have its top 6 finalists. The six finalists competing for the trophy were Vishnu Vijay, Maya Krishnan, Vijay Varma, VJ Archana, Mani Chandra, and Dinesh Gopalsamy. The latest twist in the show was revealed by the makers. The popular reality show also saw a mid-week elimination, ahead of the grand finale, in which Vijay Varma bid adieu to the house based on the audience’s votes. Vijay received the least number of votes, following which he has been shown the exit door.
Reportedly, post-elimination, Vijay has taken a hefty amount home. He charged Rs 15,000 per episode. The contestant was there for 21 days and took home an income of Rs 3.15 lakh. Later, as the show entered the eighth week, he made a re-entry as a wild card contestant and was there on the show for 45 days. During this period, he earned around Rs 6.75 lakh. The total income of Vijay that he earned as a contestant of Bigg Boss Tamil 7 reportedly happens to be Rs 9.9 lakh.
Post Vijay’s elimination, the controversial reality show got its top 5 finalists – Maya Krishnan, VJ Archana, Vishnu Vijay, Manichandra and Dinesh. It will be interesting to see who will be lifting the winner’s trophy during the grand finale.
