Thalapathy Vijay is among the biggest stars in the South Indian film industry. The actor has been a part of some of the most popular films and enjoys a massive fan following all over India. After gaining immense success with his last release, Leo, the actor is all set to star in an upcoming film by renowned director Venkat Prabhu. The film is titled The Greatest of All Time (GOAT). Now, there has been an update about the film. Recently, Venkat Prabhu was seen attending an event in Chennai, where he talked about the shooting of the film and also gave updates about its production and the first single of the project.

The Greatest of All Time, the highly anticipated action thriller, marks the first collaboration between Thalapathy Vijay and director Venkat Prabhu. The movie, which features Vijay in a double role, is now nearing the final stages of its filming. Filmmaker Venkat Prabhu, who recently attended the pre-release event of the upcoming film J Baby, opened up about his first onscreen collaboration with Thalapathy Vijay. While addressing the audience, he confirmed that GOAT’s shoot is indeed inching towards completion. He revealed that they have completed the shooting of a major percentage of the film and just a few portions are left, which will be included in the upcoming foreign schedule and the climax. He also revealed that work on the music productions of the project is also going on simultaneously. He said that if things go according to schedule, then the highly anticipated first song of GOAT, which is composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, will be released in May 2024.

Talking about the CG of the film, he revealed that he and his team have already kicked off the CG work for the Thalapathy Vijay starrer. He added that the CG work is going on in Chennai and Los Angeles.

CG and VFX play a major part in the film, as Thalapathy Vijay will be seen playing a double role in the project. He will be portraying the role of a 19-year-old, which will require heavy VFX and CG.
