'You All Are Kings': Thalapathy Vijay Praises Fans At Leo Success Meet
Thalapathy Vijay added that he is a soldier and will accomplish the orders given by his kings (fans).

Leo’s success meet, held yesterday in Chennai, was attended by the film’s entire cast and crew. The event was celebrated on a grand level as the film is inching closer to Rs 600 crore at the box office. This was a treat for the fans who were disappointed about the cancellation of the film’s audio launch last minute before the release of Leo. The event also witnessed Thalapathy Vijay’s much-awaited speech in front of his fans. “There’s only one Puratchi Thalaivar (MG Ramachandran), only one Nadigar Thilagam (Sivaji Ganesan), only one Puratchi Kalaignar Captain (Vijayakanth), only one Ulaganayagan (Kamal Haasan), only one Superstar (Rajinikanth), only one Thala (Ajith Kumar) … and the people (fans) are the kings and I am their Thalapathy (commander),” said the star at the event.

Thalapathy Vijay added that he is a soldier and will accomplish the orders given by his kings (fans). “As far as I am concerned, you all are kings and I am your Thalapathy. I am a Thalapathy at your service,” he said.

During his speech, Vijay also urged the audience to watch cinema for entertainment and that is how it is perceived across the world. He called it a product of a creator’s imagination. “Take the positives and let go of the negatives,” he added. He also asked his fans to not indulge in toxic fan rivalry on social media, and told them to pursue their dreams. “A real hero is not someone who achieves what’s easy; a real hero is the one who aims big. Dream big; nobody can call your dreams too big to be true,” the Varisu actor said.

What came as a surprise to the fans at the event was when the Tamil actor subtly hinted at his confirmation of entering into politics. When the anchor of the event asked to tell something about the year 2026, the actor quoted his dialogue from the 2019 film Bigil: “Cup’u mukkiyam, Bigilu!” (Winning the cup is important, Bigil).

Thalapathy Vijay is rumoured to enter into politics for the upcoming state election. It is also said that he will not be joining any political party and will be establishing his own party.

The fans-only event was also attended by director Lokesh Kanagaraj, screenwriters Rathna Kumar and Deeraj Vaidy, actors Trisha, Arjun Sarja, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Mysskin, George Maryan, Madonna Sebastian, Mansoor Ali Khan, Mathew Thomas, and more. The film also features Sanjay Dutt in the key role. The music of Leo is composed by Anirudh Ravichander. The gangster drama had a pan-India release on October 27.
